Meet The Face Behind A Cacao Affair
I’m Karl Vivier, the proud owner of A Cacao Affair.
I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
I worked in a number of trendy restaurants as a chef, and my favorite job was making versatile chocolate treats and desserts. I enjoyed experimenting with mouth-watering flavors and pairing chocolate with spices, wines, and fruits.
It inspired me to focus on creating delicious and unusual combinations with chocolate. So, after thirty years of working in the hospitality industry, I set up a chocolate boutique in 2013.
Over the past seven years, I’ve noticed that my business has evolved tremendously. It took time to establish my name, but over the past three years, it has snowballed, and even though the pandemic slowed things down, it’s now about seventy percent of where it was a year ago.
Consequently, I work hard, and as an individual, I believe what sets me apart from the others is that I only source the highest quality chocolates from across the globe. My ingredients are fresh and natural, with no artificial flavors or sweeteners, which has enhanced my integrity.
I also attribute my success to consistently developing innovative creations, as I want customers to discover the benefits of quality chocolate in all shapes and sizes. Besides, my wife, Eva, has supported me from day one and contributed to exceeding the customers’ expectations.
When I see happy customers savoring my products, it’s rewarding, as I always aim to spread a little joy while having fun with my art. Being passionate about my craft has ensured the company has grown annually.
When I’m not creating delectable chocolate products, I love to relax and spend time with family and friends. I also like to take care of my house and try new hobbies.
I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
