I can’t believe I didn’t know this shop was tucked away, but now that I do, I see myself becoming a regular. The croissants are amazingly light and flakey, the pain au chocolat have a satisfying amount of good chocolate filling, and the mousse treats are truly decadent (I can only narrow to 4 each time, for my family to share, there are too many that I want to try). It was only chance that has me stumble upon their online store, but I have been telling any local who listens to try them, even since.

I just went for the first time and I loved it! You should go—trust me, it’s totally worth it! 😍✨

I love this place!! They are so talented and creative. It’s hard to decide what to get each time I go. I never leave with just one thing but I always leave with one of their palmiers😋

Beautiful little spot with chocolates, pastries, bread, croissants, and coffee. Only has one table for sitting, so plan to take and go.

We heard about this hidden gem from an acquaintance and decided to give it a try. We literally live just down the road and had no idea this place existed. We stopped by today and were definitely not disappointed! Everything we bought was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. You can tell a lot of care goes into every item they make. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the quality exceeded our expectations. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and check out A Cacao Affair. We will definitely be back to try even more of their amazing treats!

Cacao Affair on Jamison Road in Woodstock is a major find. The mango and peach confections are unreal. I have been hunting for a shell that actually snaps, and these deliver an immediate, loud crackle the second you poke a spoon into them. Inside, the creaminess, the fruit center, and the sweet-to-tart ratio are spot on. The blueberry danish is a masterpiece of true puff pastry, where you can literally feel the texture of each layer as you bite into it. It hits the spot every single time, and the sourdough loaf is excellent. If you are anywhere near the area, do yourself a favor and check them out. Highly recommended.
