Traffic deterred me from my usual chocolatier in Dunwoody, so A Cacao Affair is an unexpected and delightful find. In fact, I will be making this shop my new 'usual' for high quality chocolates and macarons. The modest shop is much closer to home, and the confections are masterfully created. Each truffle is beautiful and perfectly sized. I particularly enjoyed the well-balanced, artfully blended flavors and texture. My favorite is the Honey & Saffron. The owner, Karl Vivier, was also very welcoming and helped me select the best assortment for a gift.
